This #matriarchmonday we are highlighting our very own IGG Collective Member @jadethemighty ! She is #risingmatriarch goals as she is making waves in the climate justice space, is a multimedia creative, and has been sharing her vision in our Land, Water, Dignity blog since 2017. Overall, Jade is a kind soul with a fierce love for our land and People.

Jade is Diné and Tesuque Pueblo of New Mexico. She has extensive experience working in climate justice movement spaces throughout Turtle Island and within Indigenous communities across the globe. She has also worked as a multimedia producer, filmmaker and communications professional working in non-profit and Indigenous organizations. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Video and a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Leadership.

Jade is currently the Climate Justice Campaign Director at NDN Collective and was most recently named one of Grist's 2021 Fixers in the Policy & Advocacy space. She was also appointed to the first ever White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council. We celebrate Jade today for all of her work and are excited for everything else to come!
