Dirty 30 DIY Grown Folx Face Mist

Winter is a double-edged sword. On one hand, there’s rosy cheeks, Dewy skin & servin winter looks. On the other hand, It’s freezing all the time. Enter our ubiquitous winter skin savior: Carrot Face Mist. Always ready to refresh and soothe with just a simple spritz. Though we stock up on our favorites like, (Quw’utsun’made Rosewater Nettle Mist) we’re also about that DIY (for the sake of smashing capitalism & our wallets). A lot of store bought products contain a handful of ingredients & cost around $40--- or sometimes as much as $90(?!) This dirty 30 mix has only 5 ingredients. We are whipping some up ourselves!

A lot of us here at IGG are no longer spring chickens. The melanin is poppin but we wanna serve our sacred skin some anti antioxidant goodness!

What you need:

2 Free range organic eggs (10,000 points if you raise your own chickens, YASS!)

4 cups boiling water

10 drops of Carrot Seed Oil

8 drops of Rose Hip Oil

4 drops of essential oil of your choice

Step one: Boil eggs (Preferably free range organic eggs. You get bonus points if you brew them with mineral water from a glass bottle. (It comes from springs that are protected from pollutants, and the minerals are nourishing and can calm sensitive and even eczema-prone skin).

Viola! A snack & a foundation to your Biotin, vitamin B12 mist. Eggs are also rich in protein and albumin that help tone and promote fewer wrinkles.

Step 2: Drain the eggs and water. Pour the egg water into a beaker measuring cup.

Step Three: Fill spray bottle with water. Add 10 drops of Carrot seed oil, rose hip oil & rose oil. (my favs but you could use your favorite oils)

Step 4: WASH YO FACE. <3 Use mist on face and neck before moisturizer.

OR use the mist to set your makeup.
